Healing Scriptures

A place to pause, reflect, and receive the healing found in Christ.

How Great Thou Art:

And when I think that God, his Son not sparing,

Sent him to die, I scarce can take it in,

That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing,

He bled and died to take away my sin.

  • I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee. - Kings 20:5

  • I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. - John 14:27

  • Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. - Matthew 11:28-30

  • And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. - Revelation 21:4

  • There is a sure cure for heartache, disappointment, torment, anguish, and despair. “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.” - Psalm 147:3

  • And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. - Revelation 21:4

  • Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost. - Romans 15:13

  • I am the Lord that healeth thee. - Exodus 15:26

  • I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. - Psalm 34:4

  • We find solace in Christ through the agency of the Comforter, and the Savior extends this invitation to us:

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28

As we do this, healing takes place, just as the Lord promised through the prophet Jeremiah when He said:

“I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow. … I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.” - Jeremiah 31:13,25
