Senior Pastors
Meet Tim and Kim Bennett. Tim Bennett has been sharing the gospel of Christ since the age of seventeen. He attended Lee College where he studied Pastoral Ministries. Tim is founder of CrossBridge Community Church. Tim and Kim were married in 1993, and have three children, Morgan Nicholson (married to Nathan), Mason Bennett (married to Alexandria), and Matthew Bennett. In 2021, the Lord blessed them with their first grandson, Riggs Nicholson. In 2023, the Lord blessed them with their first granddaughter, Arlie James Bennett. Tim and Kim have a desire to serve this community and see people come into relationships with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Our Mission
At CBCC we want to reach the Harvest for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We believe that we are called to minister first to our community of Dawsonville, GA, and then the rest of the world. We do not seek to entertain man, but only to please our God through worship and service.
Our Beliefs
We believe in the Trinity- God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit. We believe in the gifts of the Spirit and believe they are necessary for the body of Christ as a whole. We believe the Bible from Genesis to Revelation and know that it is the truth of God. We believe that true salvation comes only through the confession of sins, dying to the old-self, and raising to life as a follower of Christ. We participate in water baptism by submersion believing that it is only an outward expression of our salvation. The structure of our church is contemporary in style and worship. CBCC was established in 2004 and is a member of Church Of God Of Prophecy.
